The Lord showed me that in general people in the world world are under the illusion of being separated from one another and the Lord. He showed me that we are all interconnected, born of His Spirit, whether we believe it not. People are under a pall of darkness not being aware that we are all family in Him. There is a kind of spell that causes people to compartmentalize themselves. It’s so pervasive and has been for eons affecting our whole civilization in the billions or trillions of people. That’s how powerful it is. It says this in 2 Cor 4:4, “The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.”
As a result of this illusion, love for one another is affected leading to a lack of empathy, accountability, not seeing there are consequences for one’s actions, corruption, loneliness, alienation, depravity, you name it. It causes a lack of understanding that all things come from Him. We all know this and as the Lord reminded me of all this, He was doing so in the context of people being woken up by the Spirit and what’s to come regarding His mighty move that will sweep the world.
The power of the Spirit will increase so that the illusion of separation will be dispelled. One of the ways this will happen is through signs and wonders to get people to notice and ask questions and to wake them up.
Jesus said in Mark 1:15 “The time has come,” He said. “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!”
The kingdom of God is all around us. I had a vision where I saw another world open up while I was looking at the trees in my backyard. It was like I was looking at a huge photo of my backyard and the corner folded down to reveal another world behind it of green hills and sky. Clearly there’s another world behind everything we see and someday the veil of this reality will be permanently lifted to reveal the new heavens and new Earth.
I believe we are headed into a power move of the Lord where none of our past methods for evangelism and trying to convince the world about God will work. Paul alluded to this in 1 Cor 2:4-5 “My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.” I believe that what’s to come will point people to Him, away from persons and away from the traditions of religion. I believe we are headed into an era of illumination or what has been called an awakening so that people can see that they were always connected to Him and to everyone else as well.
Eph 1:17 “I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better.”
