I felt like the Lord was showing me that He is going to soften the church blowing away traditions, rules and regulations. He will be establishing clearly who’s body it is which is Him. I believe that there will be more freedom for everyday attenders as leaders relax and trust the Lord more and more and release people into greater expressions of ministry alongside them. Everyday attenders will have more of a voice and as a result will take up more ownership of what God is doing in the body wholeheartedly serving, drawing near, staying near to make a cohesive family of God. It will start with Him tenderly restoring leaders to their first love and passion for Him and His ways. It will be an entering into rest from the formalities of what so many bodies have become.
“The time has come for a renovation of My house and to soften the hearts of My stewards, My shepherds, My appointees. I tenderly brought you up from nothing to serve in My house and you started out well and kindly until the weeds came up and because you were distracted, you found yourself in a tangle that you can’t see or see out of. It’s time for Me to trim the weeds and to uproot anything that’s not of My tender heart for My sheep. I will soften your hearts again. I will open your eyes to see and revive your passion for My heart, My heart for my sons and daughters. Now is the time that I’m sending forth My angels to heal your wounds, your disappointments and frustrations and to make you like a child with childlike faith, full of hope, full of peace, full of joy and full of believing in the best of others, in My best for others. Have My full heart again just as in the first when you entered into My work with joy and faith and passion. I’m reviving the hearts of the shepherds in the land everywhere. I’m visiting every conscience, every act. I am house cleaning My body. I’m not coming to judge. I’m coming to restore and reestablish you on better ground for all concerned and in the end you will be happier and truly enjoy all that I have given you to do.”
